About us

Founded in July 2018 by a group of volunteer patients, ARCO is the first patient association in Italy dedicated to all forms of urticaria, including chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU).

Our aims:  

• We promote research and care for all forms of urticaria (chronic spontaneous, vasculitic, cholinergic and physical).

• We collaborate with institutions to raise awareness about the severity of the disease and ensure access to therapies indicated by international guidelines.

• We offer patient support and encourage patients to share their experiences. 

• We have created a specialists’ network that is constantly updated.

• We collaborate with a scientific board composed of specialized clinicians and experts.

 

ARCO is like a family and supports all patients. Our main goal is to be a constant reference point, a scientific and serious  source of information offering updates on the latest research and therapies concerning our illness.

Our aim is to contribute and improve the quality of life of all our patients.

Urticaria can affect anyone, at any age.

Its causes are still unknown and there is no definitive cure, but thanks to the right support, it is possible to live with this disease and improve our quality of life.
